Fruttli Trail

For guests of all ages, there are ten stations around Lake Melchsee that promote knowledge about the marmot in a playful way. Here you can learn new things about Fruttli and indulge in the playgrounds and their attractions. Another incentive is the opportunity to solve tasks for the marmot, which are rewarded at the finish. The Fruttli Pass can be obtained free of charge at the new mountain station of the cable cars and at the old mountain station on Melchsee-Frutt. On the way around Lake Melchsee, there are several fireplaces with appropriate wood supplies and seating for resting and barbecuing. Even the youngest guests are welcome, as the Fruttli trail is suitable for baby carriages. The Fruttli Trail has been supplemented with 10 large wooden animals. Here you can find further informations. All children who master the Fruttli Way are accepted into the Fruttli Club.

This is what the Fruttli Pass looks like, which children can pick up for free at the mountain station: Fruttli-Pass

The posts

Ten posts around Lake Melchsee provide fun for the whole family. Learn how the marmot moves in nature and try to walk on stones or look for the solution to the task in a tube. Can you climb as well as the marmot? And how do you find your way around a labyrinth? The marmot can do this very well, because that’s where the nest is usually hidden. There are also telescopes along the way that allow you to observe the animals in the wild. With a bit of luck, you will see the small animals in their natural environment. With fun and games, young and old learn how marmots live. You can extend the experience as you wish, for example by taking a break at the fire pits. If you answer all the questions correctly, you will receive a souvenir of Fruttli at the mountain station!

Post 1 is located at the “old mountain station” fireplace. After arriving by cable car at the mountain station, go straight out and down the path to the right to the fireplace.

The idea

Thanks to the partnership with various sponsors, the Fruttli Trail was created. This is a further addition to the summer activities for the beautiful Melchsee-Frutt vacation region. The mascot Fruttli is a loyal and silent companion to visitors, to whom an entire themed trail has been dedicated with the learning and adventure trail project.
