Sledging

Enjoy a speedy sledge ride on the eight-kilometre-long sledge trail. The trail from the Melchsee-Frutt mountain station to the Stöckalp valley station with a difference in altitude of almost 1,000 meters promises pure action. The ride is an experience for young and old alike.
For safety reasons, dogs are not allowed on the sledge trail. Depending on the snow conditions, the eight-kilometre-long sledge trail may have to be pulled, especially in fresh, soft or wet snow.

When sledging on Melchsee-Frutt, please observe the guidelines and warnings regarding the closure of the pistes.

Night sledging

The additional offer of night sledging is available during the sledging season from 03. January 2025 to 08. March 2025. With eight kilometers and an altitude difference of almost 1000 meters, the sledging trail is the longest illuminated night sledging trail in Switzerland. Thanks to autonomous, solar-powered LED lights, our sledging trail from Melchsee-Frutt to Stöckalp is fully illuminated for night sledging.
