Fishing Melchsee-Frutt

A warm welcome! Enjoy relaxing hours of mountain lake fishing and ice fishing on the high plateau.

Fishing in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere in three idyllic mountain lakes. Every mountain lake fisherman’s dream of catching a “namaycush” can also come true on Melchsee-Frutt. Give it a try. You will be thrilled.

Incidentally, Melchsee-Frutt has a very special “pearl” to offer fly fishermen. The Blauseeli in a landscape surrounded by a mountain massif makes fly fishing particularly popular and attractive.

Vending machine

Do you need bait material? The vending machine in the old mountain station on Melchsee-Frutt is open 24 hours a day and sells worms, bee maggots and artificial bait. Other fishing articles such as buldo, fishing hooks or various spoons are also available (no other shopping facilities available on site).

Early arrivers can buy a day pass (adult / youth) from the vending machine.

You can pay with coins as well as notes (10s / 20s / 50s) at the vending machine. Euro notes are also accepted (10s / 20s).

Please note: There is NO longer an ATM in the old Melchsee-Frutt mountain station. Cash can no longer be withdrawn.

Fish cleaning station

A fish cleaning station has been set up in the old mountain station. The room is accessible around the clock and offers the opportunity to gut fish and dispose of waste properly. A vacuum packing machine is also available for use. Vacuum bags can be purchased from the Melchsee-Frutt guest information office at the old mountain station (9:00 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 17:00).
