The Glasi Hergiswil has been completely renovated in recent years and made visitor-friendly.

“Formed by Fire” museum

The Glasi Museum uses impressive three-dimensional presentations to tell the story of the Glasi and of glass. The museum is a walk-in film, a rustic theatre, a cabinet of illusions, a time machine. The museum was chosen by the European Council in 1996 as “one of the most beautiful museums in Europe”.

The glassblowers

You have an ideal view of the glassmakers’ platform, and can observe our craftsmen, as they skillfully form glass out of the glowing mass, blow it and cast it.

Glasi-Park

Our Glasi Park is a small paradise for young and old. The 7-metre-high marble run was made using many glasses from the Glasi collection. A long slide, a big quartz sand pit and other games offer children every kind of adventure.
